هناك دعوات عديدة للحفاظ على المياه الجارية و سواء فى المنازل أو المحلات التجارية التى تعتمد على المياه بشكل يومى، وذلك حفاظا على حصة الاستهلاك اليومى لمياه النيل، ولكى تكفى أعداد السكان الكبيرة التى تزداد يوميا ؛ وفى المتحف القومي بالإسكندرية نجد أن توفير مياه الشرب هى عادة اساسية للمصر...
